How to Create an Email Account in cPanel

This article covers how to create an email account in cPanel.

  1. Log in to your cPanel:
  2. Click on "Email Accounts" under the Email section:

  3. Enter the email address you would like to create for your domain:
  4. Create your own password or generate one using the Password Generator and input it twice.
  5. Assign the quota.
  6. Click "Create Account".


Once the email account is created, it will appear in "Email Accounts" section where it shows the account, usage/quota, and actions you can take.
From here you can change the password, quota, or even delete the email account. You can also access the email by clicking on the "Access Webmail" button. You can click on "Connect Devices" and then "Set Up Mail Client" which will provide more information such as port numbers and settings to use if you would like to set up an email client (i.e., Outlook or Thunderbird).
