For PP versions 10.x and above:

Use
${PRODUCT\_ROOT\_D}/bin/admin
utility to prompt the password for user "admin":Example:
/usr/local/psa/bin/admin --show-password

Use
${PRODUCT\_ROOT\_D}/bin/init\_conf
to reset the password for user "admin":Example:
/usr/local/psa/bin/init_conf -u -passwd NewPasswordHere
For Plesk Versions up to 9.x:
cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow
Authenticates user "admin" by trying to authorize access to the PP database using the password provided.
